How it works

A business day is any day that isn't a weekend or a public holiday. When you add business days, the start date itself isn't counted — so 1 business day after a Friday is the next Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday). When a holiday falls on a weekend, the observed day off (for example a Friday or Monday) is skipped too.
